Trump threatened Iran and Russia, and invoked World War Three.
(The AEGIS Alliance) – During this Friday evening today, President Trump made an announcement that he ordered United States military to launch strikes on the Syrian government. These attacks, that are going to be participated in by French and British forces, are going to focus on missile strikes against chemical weapon capabilities in Syria, which includes facilities for production.
Alhough Trump indicates these strikes are primarily against Syria, he also went after Iran and Russian during this speech, and declared them responsible for the company they’re keeping. Trump further stated that Russia was ‘directly responsible’ for the alleged chemical attack that took place on Saturday.
This statement came only a couple days after President Trump mocked Russia for stating they’d intercept U.S. missile strikes on Syria, and declared they should ‘get ready.’ Trump’s comments this Friday suggest this could be be a protracted attack, claiming that America’s ‘righteous power’ will establish a deterrent to these chemical attacks.
“These are not the actions of a man. They are crimes of a monster instead,” And “We are prepared to sustain this response until the Syrian regime stops its use of prohibited chemical agents,” Mr. Trump stated.
“The combined American, British and French response to these atrocities will integrate all instruments of our national power: military, economic and diplomatic,” Trump said.
Trump has been talking about these attacks all week, while Defense Secretary James Mattis was resisting the effort, and expressed concerns that strikes by the U.S. will lead to a direct war against Russia. The rest of Trump’s cabinet was known to support these strikes.
To be Noted: This happened on Friday the 13th!
