A person who is deeply obsessed with altering their body asserts that they experience “harassment” while out in public, following the removal of their nose and nipples as part of their commitment to body aesthetics.
“People love hating anything different,” the 32-year-old man who only goes by his first name, Odin, informed Jam Press about how people react to his extremely modified body.
For the last 11 years, the person from California has invested $8,000 into altering their body, which involved textured reproductive enhancements, a deliberately marked torso, and various tattoos covering areas from their ribcage to their eyes. Some of these modifications were self-inflicted.
“I also tattooed my own chest, my own eyes, my gums and I tattooed my face some too,” Odin says, who uploads videos of his self-mutilation he described as art to his more than 3,300 Instagram followers.
If a body is a temple, then this guy is more comparable to the Sistine Chapel.

Odin has recently ventured into the realm of aesthetics by discarding his nipples and eliminating the upper section of his nose through a septril piercing, which incurred a mere approximate expense of $80 during that time.
He began on a tiny scale, using a 4mm entrance, before enlarging it through a biopsy procedure similar to a tool that punches holes but in people.
“I have been stretching it bigger for the last eight years or so,” the enthused body mod expert said, who can now brag about a 19mm-wide crater on his nose similar to something from the “Walking Dead” show.
Odin frequently fills the hole with different accessories, such as adornments and jewelry, for which he has expended a sum ranging from $700 to $1,000.

Odin did this of his own volition, motivated by an inner desire to embark on a spiritual journey that holds “appreciation for tribal history, culture, and art.”
“I think my body is a vessel for art and I think changing how I’m seen is part of that practice,” Odin said to the Jam Press.
“My mother was a museum curator when I was a child and I found what I have learned to be very influential in my philosophies, and in everything I do and see in this world,” he added.
The significance of Odin’s distinctive look was not understood by onlookers, who often mock his one-of-a-kind look.
“I’ve had people harass me on the street,” the bod mod addict ranted. “I don’t ever focus on it though, I just walk by any strangers acting like animals.”

The trolls have aimed insults at Odin’s septril piercing, “I could imagine a piercing like this would lead to nasal sinus infections,” one told him as criticism “With the internal structure exposed.”
A different person said, “Stopp im gunna pukke. U need to just settle down OK?”
But it’s not only strangers who troll on his appearance. “My family is not terribly fond of what I’ve done to my appearance,” Odin lamented.

In spite of their evident repulsion, nevertheless, he claims he is still included in festive meals and frequently engages in discussions with family members.
“We are on good terms despite disagreements,” Odin noted, and claimed that luckily, “Many of my friends usually seem a little proud to be friends with me like I’m a one-of-a-kind person to know.”
And the highly productive piercer claims he has no intentions to decrease his body-altering mission.
In the forthcoming future, Odin intends to shape his ears into a tapered form and eliminate his belly button as a component of his continuous transformation.

Regrettably, the adverse consequences of excessive physical alteration can extend beyond just eliciting peculiar gazes from onlookers.
In the past weeks, a lady with 800 tattoos on her body asserted that she has faced difficulties in securing work due to employers forming opinions about her heavily decorated look.

So, stay off the streets…
