Florida Woman Arrested for Placing Porn-Filled Easter Eggs in Mailboxes

(The AEGIS Alliance) – FLAGLER COUNTY, FLORIDA A Florida woman was arrested last Wednesday after she put pornography-filled plastic easter eggs in people’s mailboxes, FOX8 reported.

“Pretty bizarre, pretty deranged zealousness,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staley said.

Age 42 Abril Cestoni was almost caught in the act just moments after she allegedly put the pornographic-filled easter eggs inside mailboxes in area of Palm Coast on Wednesday night, Sheriff Staley said. The sheriffs were able to recover some evidence from her vehicle, according to FOX8.

While Cestoni would rant against churches, she also claimed to be a church. The suspect made the claim that the explicit photos inside the plastic easter eggs were a way for her to call out church leaders who she says are gay.

“She claims that the Bible is being rewritten, that there is homosexuality in the church, and she felt that they were not teaching the word of God,” Sheriff Staley said.

Citizens increasingly called into the Flagler Sheriff’s Department to say they noticed their mailbox flags were up, that they found the explicit materials inside.  Sheriff Staley had concerns that Cestoni’s actions were meant to cause fear during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, FOX8 reports.

“Putting things out that they know people are going to open and touch, and so that concerned us a lot,” Sheriff Staley mentioned.

Cestoni did not appear to have COVID-19 symptoms, but she may have other issues according to Sheriff Staley.

Abril Cestoni admitted that she drove around for hours at a time, placing the porn-filled easter eggs inside mailboxes along with other odd items.

According to FCSD notes on Facebook, after being arrested, Cestoni faces 11 counts of distributing obscene material. It was later determined that Cestoni didn’t have a valid driver’s license. Cestoni is also being charged with driving with a suspended license and violating executive order 20-91 which involves non-essential traveling. Abril Cestoni was jailed into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility and is held on a $7,000 bond amount.
