Florida man under arrest after pooping on dead possum during rush hour traffic

A Florida man, 45-year-old Rudy Wilcox, found himself in a rather unfortunate predicament after engaging in an unusual act in public. During rush hour traffic, Wilcox was witnessed defecating on a dead possum lying in the middle of the Belcher Road and Willow Tree Trail intersection. This bizarre incident occurred in Clearwater, Florida, on Wednesday around 5:30 p.m.

According to a Pinellas County affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun, Wilcox was observed with his pants lowered and his backside exposed while he relieved himself on the deceased possum. This unsavory act took place in plain view of passing motorists, who couldn’t help but notice the spectacle unfolding before them.

When confronted by police, Wilcox denied the allegations and claimed that the officer who witnessed the incident was mistaken. However, physical evidence at the scene corroborated the allegations, leaving little room for doubt. Despite being homeless and not under the influence of any intoxicants at the time, Wilcox was arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs. He was subsequently booked into the Pinellas County Jail.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of public decency and the potential consequences of engaging in inappropriate behavior, even in the face of unfortunate circumstances.

  1. Is there an actual law prohibiting this? If there is our legislature has too much time on their hands. I mean. Really how often does this level of crazy happen?
