Fugitive Ohio Attempted Murder Suspect is Captured
(The AEGIS Alliance) – ROSS COUNTY, OHIO – The Ross County Sheriff’s Office took an attempted murder suspect into custody after asking the public to help locate the wanted fugitive.
Ernest Reed, age 41, who also goes by the nickname “Bigworm” was on the run from authorities and the sheriff’s department was searching for the male fugitive. Reed weighs about 250 pounds and stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and was a wanted suspect in an attempted murder case that took place on State Route 772 on Thursday morning.
“Mr. Reed should be considered armed and dangerous,” the sheriff’s department said. “Do not approach and call law enforcement immediately.”
In an update on Facebook, the Ross County Sheriff’s Office said it took Reed into police custody at about 3:30 p.m. at a house on Thursday. Ernest Reed is being held at the Ross County Jail on a warrant for violating his parole, and he is expected to face additional charges that are pending the outcome of an investigation.
