Three Arrested for Child Sex Crimes in Iowa, They Lived Together with Minors
Des Moines, Iowa – In a shocking turn of events, three adults have been apprehended and incarcerated for their alleged involvement in the repeated sexual abuse of a young girl.
Frank Maier, a 59-year-old individual, is now facing four charges of second-degree child sexual abuse. Court records have unveiled that Maier admitted to engaging in sexual acts with a female child below the age of 12 on multiple occasions between May 2019 and April 2020. Authorities took Maier into custody last week, promptly putting an end to his heinous activities.
Danielle Williams, aged 31, and David Joynes, aged 59, are also facing charges related to second-degree child sexual abuse. Additionally, they are being accused of abandoning or neglecting a dependent individual, as reported by WHOTV.com. Both Williams and Joynes were apprehended on Tuesday evening, marking a significant breakthrough in the investigation.
Court documents shed light on the fact that Joynes and Williams had witnessed the young victim being subjected to abuse by Maier. During the course of the investigation, the two confessed to detectives that they had hesitated to report the abuse due to concerns about their relationship with Maier. Shockingly, Maier even expressed his desire to marry the victim and engage in sexual acts with her to Joynes, according to police statements.
Disturbingly, Frank Maier, Danielle Williams, and David Joynes were all residing together in an apartment in Des Moines, Iowa, alongside two other underage children.
