NYPD: Woman impaled on fence after struck by car in NYC

(The AEGIS Alliance) – A New York woman was seriously wounded on Friday night after she was struck by a vehicle in the Bronx and became impaled onto a metallic fence, NBC 4 New York reported.

The age 59 lady had been strolling down the road on foot not long after 6:30 p.m. when she got hit by a grey Lexus sport utility vehicle at Pelham Parkway’s 2040 Bronxdale Avenue, police stated.

The vehicle forced the female victim right into some fencing, impaling the woman as the automobile carried on moving up until it struck the property, according to authorities.

Graphic images from the scene reveal the wrecked and rusty metallic fencing next to a pool of blood.

An ambulance transferred the lady to Jacobi Hospital where she remains in a critical health condition. The motorist was likewise transported to Jacobi Hospital and remains in stable condition.
