(The AEGIS Alliance) – On Thursday, a Texas police chief was arrested and charged after his alleged solicitation of a minor for sexual prostitution.
55-year-old Thomas Peoples was Oak Ridge’s police chief in Texas. Authorities apprehended Peoples on Thursday in Arlington. He is being charged with the solicitation of prostitution from a person under the age of 18, FOX4/KDFW reported.
The city of Oak Ridge is around 35 miles southeast of Dallas.
The cops in Arlington stated that an adolescent disclosed an incident that involved Peoples and authorities placed him under arrest.
Jail records indicate that Peoples posted bail on a $25,000 secured bond and was released from jail.
Thomas Peoples was promptly terminated from his job as the Oak Ridge police chief following his arrest.
