Former deputy sentenced to at least 35 years for killing girlfriend who insulted ‘the size of his manhood’
This week, a former sheriff’s deputy from Augusta, Georgia admitted to causing the death of his 37-year-old girlfriend in an elevator located in a parking lot. The incident occurred after she reportedly made a derogatory statement.
The Augusta Press reports Jason “Moose” Cunningham entered the plea for malice murder, and a Richmond County judge subsequently sentenced him to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years, plus five years for possession of a gun in the commission of a felony in connection with the death of Nicole Harrington.
Jason “Moose” Cunningham pleaded guilty to malice murder, as reported by The Augusta Press. Following this, a Richmond County judge handed down a sentence of life imprisonment with the chance of parole after 30 years. Additionally, he received a five-year sentence for possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony related to the death of Nicole Harrington.
As per the Augusta Press, Cunningham and Harrington were involved romantically, however, Harrington was allegedly unaware of Cunningham’s marital status. On June 17, 2020, Cunningham expressed his anger towards Harrington for spending time with another man named Maui. Harrington reportedly retorted by saying, “At least Maui has a bigger penis.”
After shooting Harrington in the head, Cunningham’s actions led to the discovery of her body the following morning at the Convention Center Parking Deck in Augusta, according to WJBF-TV. Identified as the perpetrator, Cunningham evaded authorities for eight hours during a standoff at the Pointes West Army Resort before ultimately surrendering.
Jared Williams, the District Attorney of Richmond County, informed WJBF that Cunningham was leading a deceitful life, having an affair with Harrington, and eventually murdered her because she insulted the size of his manhood.
From September 2001 to February 2018, Cunningham served as a deputy for the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, as reported by the Augusta Chronicle.

So – he gets to take a life forever and for that he only has to pay with 35 years of his own life. That is not fair in any sense of the word. The only reason why he avoided having the death penalty on the table or even a life sentence is because he is a wh*te male police. That’s the reason. #EliminateSuperLegalStatus.
