Pennsylvania man arrested after father’s head found in his freezer on a dinner plate, body in bed

(The AEGIS Alliance) – A Pennsylvania man, age 32, was apprehended on Wednesday following the cops responding to his residence and also locating a human head in the fridge freezer as well as a body in a room.

On August 11 at about 8:51 a.m. authorities responded to a home located on West Strawberry Street in the 200 blocks for a wellness check on members of the household. The individual that got in touch with the cops stated one of the people who lived in the home, Donald Meshey Jr., said to her that “there was a cadaver in one of the beds in the home and there was a human head in the freezer,” the Lancaster Bureau of Police stated.

When authorities showed up, Meshey Jr. apparently took the officers into the kitchen area and removed what looked to be a human head from the fridge freezer. It was purportedly resting on a white-colored dinner plate, WGAL-TV reported.

The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office has verified it had been a human head.

Meshey Jr. talked to the cops while at the Lancaster City Police Station concerning the scene at his home. Meshey Jr. apparently stated he found a “cadaver doll” in his dad’s room. He purportedly mentioned it “looked and sounded like his father.”

Lancaster Bureau of Police said Meshey Jr. confessed to the crime, that he “admitted to stabbing the ‘cadaver doll’ for 2-3 minutes with a knife and then dismembered the body.”

Meshey Jr. has been apprehended and is facing criminal homicide charges, along with abuse of a corpse, as well as tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

According to WGAL, the victim has been determined to be Donald Meshey Sr. Meshey purportedly made use of a hand saw to sever his father’s body. At that point, he apparently put the arms, legs, and head in trash bags. He placed the head in the fridge freezer on Wednesday. The torso was apparently placed inside a footlocker, after that, it was taken outside and put into a car, WGAL reported.

“You can’t imagine running into something like this,” Lancaster police Captain Michael Winter stated. “Obviously, it’s a traumatic experience for anyone to experience, including police officers, so yeah, it’s a horrific scene.”

Court records indicate that Donald Meshey Jr. is locked up at the Lancaster County Jail and his bond was denied.
