(The AEGIS Alliance) – A male suspect was arrested and charged for groping an age 8 little girl while she was checking out children’s toys at a shop in Brooklyn, according to the cops on Monday.
23-year-old Oscar Aguilar Morales was captured last Wednesday and is now facing charges of child sexual abuse, acting in a manner injurious to a child, and also for touching by force.
Aguilar Morales strolled his way into a SunSet Park city Five Below retail store near 53 Street on Fifth Avenue at about 3:45 p.m. on September 11, police stated.
Not long afterward, he noticed the little girl taking a look at children’s toys, then began speaking to her about them. While the two arched down together to grab a number of the toys from the store shelves, he purportedly groped her private place over her clothing, police officers pointed out.
The victim’s furious mom confronted Morales and that’s when he fled the scene. The following day, the NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect going into the establishment and asked for the general public’s assistance in determining his identity.
Oscar Aguilar Morales that resides in Sunset Park has no previous arrests on file. He was discharged from jail on a $50,000 bail following his arraignment at the Brooklyn Criminal Court.
The suspect’s attorney had no remarks about the case as of Monday.
