(The AEGIS Alliance) – PHOENIX, ARIZONA – A detention officer sheriff’s deputy in Maricopa County was arrested on Monday after being accused of child molestation, KNXV reported.

MCSO recently received a report from a man who told authorities his now-adult son had been molested as a child by Detention Officer Chad Swiman. It’s reported that the male victim said he was sexually abused on multiple occasions between 2009 and 2013.

Chad Swiman was taken into police custody on Monday and is charged with three counts of molestation of a child and three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Chad Swiman has been placed on administrative leave while there is an ongoing investigation into the claims. Swiman’s bond has been set at $150,000, according to KPHO-TV.
