(The AEGIS Alliance) – BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA – A Tuscaloosa man was sentenced to 7,600 months in prison by a federal judge on Friday morning for sexually exploiting two young children.
32-year-old Matthew Miller was charged with 20 counts of enticing two children under 5-years-old to engage in sexually explicit conduct so he could produce child porn, a press release by U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama shows.
Miller gave a guilty plea in court in October 2019, following prosecutors searching of his electronic devices where they found about 102 pornographic images of those children.
AL.com previously reported that Miller was arrested in early 2019 after the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded to a home in Cottondale on Corley Drive on a report about sexual abuse against a child. Authorities said at the time that they discovered evidence Miller was abusing two young children under 5-years-old.
Miller was arrested on state charges of child porn and sodomy and was later indicted federally on 20 counts of enticing the two young children. Matthew Miller will now spend what is expected to be the rest of his life behind bars.
