Police: Texas dad shoots ‘peeping Tom’ who was caught masturbating outside daughter’s bedroom window
A dad in Texas shot and critically injured an intoxicated creepy man that had been caught masturbating outside the window of his daughter’s bedroom late Sunday evening, according to police.
The father and his wife discovered the affirmed “peeping Tom” outside their house in Houston at about 10 p.m. and confronted the creep, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The man, evidently intending to get away with it, “apologized and walked away.”
But that was unsatisfactory for this mom and dad.
The married couple grabbed their handguns to arm themselves and attempted to apprehend the presumed pervert. They followed the male suspect to a gasoline station nearby where the mother grabbed the suspect and held him while her hubby went into the establishment to phone 911.
That’s when the suspect grabbed the handgun out of the mother’s hands and aimed it at her, which caused the dad to fire gunshots that hit the suspect with a number of bullets. The dad said to ABC13 he thinks he shot the guy 4 times, consisting of two times in the upper body and once in the belly.
The suspect was transported to a local medical center in critical yet stable condition. The case has been handed over to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, which is going to make a decision on whether or not to file charges.
The dad strongly believes the male suspect may have spied on his minor-aged child a minimum of once in the past. He stated the girl complained previously regarding an individual viewing her through the home window, however, the mom and dad didn’t believe her at that time.
Both the dad and mom are registered gun owners.
