Florida Man Arrested, Officers Found Stabbed, Brutalized Dog in Hot Oven
(The AEGIS Alliance) – LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Florida man has been placed under arrest and is accused of abusing and killing a dog, then placing it into a hot oven, WFLA reported.
A neighbor called the sheriff’s department to age 24 Vicasso Lara’s home because he was making threats.
Deputies arrived on the scene and found some pools of blood outside the home, there were also bloody footprints near the backyard entrance.
Detectives were able to execute a search warrant of the home where they found a dog’s body inside the kitchen oven that had been running on its highest temperature setting, WFLA reports.
According to detectives, the dog had been stabbed many times by Mr. Lara, then the animal was brutalized and beaten before being placed into the scorching hot oven.
“I’m speechless. This is possibly the most brutal and horrific example of animal abuse my team or I have ever seen. We will pursue the absolute maximum punishment for this horrific crime,” Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said according to WFLA.
Officers arrested Vicasso Lara who is facing charges of animal torture, serious injury, inflicting pain, and causing death. Lara is currently jailed without bond.
