Pop Smoke’s Brooklyn gravestone found smashed in an evident act of vandalism

(The AEGIS Alliance) – Pop Smoke’s ultimate resting spot in Brooklyn, New York had been discovered completely ruined on Saturday in an evident act of vandalism.

Debris was scattered around at Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery mausoleum, a marble tombstone built in honor of the dead rap artist, inscribed with his name, had been shattered during the terrible act.

The aged 20 rapper who was a  rising superstar, whose birth name was Bashar Barakah Jackson, had been gunned down and shot to death during a home-invasion burglary in Los Angeles in February 2020. Four individuals that included 2 male suspects as well as 2 teenagers, were eventually apprehended faced charges for the deadly shooting.

The rap artist’s birth name was still noticeable on the busted marble piece in the mausoleum, according to pictures that TMZ acquired. Flowers, pulverized stone, and also what looked to be smoked marijuana joints could be found on the ground.

Green-Wood representative Jeff Simmons informed the media and said, “An incident of vandalism took place on our grounds early Saturday. We immediately notified the authorities and are in touch with the family. Given the ongoing investigation, we cannot comment further at this time.”
