$1.2M worth of cocaine washes ashore on Alabama beach

(The AEGIS Alliance) – The cocaine that washed ashore on a beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama, had an estimated street value of $1.2 million and weighed greater than 60 pounds, authorities stated.

Thirty-one cocaine bricks with a street value of $1.2 million washed onto land at an Alabama coastline on Monday evening.

The cocaine, approximately 66 pounds of it, had been discovered by a number of beachgoers in Gulf Shores. They notified cops about what they had found, according to WALA.

Police seized the drugs and handed the bricks over to United States Customs, according to WPMI.

Because of the findings, authorities have been increasing patrols on the coastlines.
