Attorney General Pam Bondi Cover Up! Fraud on Court
Lee County Florida Ft. Myers Judicial Corruption has more overturned Death Penalty Cases than anywhere else in Florida, ask Attorney General Pam Bondi or Judge Mark Steinbeck. It is notorious for its well-known Corruption in which the Federal Government is across the street from the State Courts. The 20th Circuit Courts of Florida consist of 5 counties Lee, Charlotte, Glades, Hendry, and Collier. The fact there has only been two State Attorneys in the entire history of its formation spells one thing, Racketeering!
Numerous Federal Probes over the years have taken place with minimal results. Attorneys are unable to practice law and uphold the Constitution for their clients and they simply do whatever they want to do to people in the Criminal and Civil Court process. The media is controlled and will not expose this massive corruption that has been ongoing for many years.
It has been recently discovered that Former Judge Mark Steinbeck has been doing cases illegally on the bench. Steinbeck was a Federal Prosecutor in this area prior to being appointed to the bench by Governor Jeb Bush in 2006. Steinbeck was only a sitting Judge for 8 years, therefore impossible to “RETIRE”. A Judge needs to have 15 years sitting on the bench to Retire and become Senior Judge Status to oversee cases when needed. Several reporters and Investigators have looked into this severe situation, and the difference between Retiring and Resigning is very clear. If you resign your position in any company, you no longer hold that status any longer. Steinbeck was never sworn back into office by anyone and the deception is clearly seen. The fact is, they never thought they would get caught. His wife is a sitting Judge at this time in the 20th Circuit Courts and also a Former Federal Prosecutor.
We have found a few cases that Mark Steinbeck presided over since his resignation took effect on December 31st, 2014. With one we found as recent as September 2016 he presided over.
We have information on Former Judge Mark Steinbeck’s previous corruption while actually having an Oath of Office. Judicial Conspiracy in Southwest Florida is condoned due to fear of reprisal. Attorney General Pam Bondi nor Governor Rick Scott has taken no action on this matter, but then again Governor Rick Scott plead the 5th repeatedly for Medicaid Fraud prior to being the Governor of Florida. One criminal sure cannot judge another, but in the meantime, Lee County has one on the bench sending people to Prison or Jail with no power to do so.
Where Pam Bondi Ended Up
The Pam Bondi named in this article as the Florida Attorney General who took no action on the Southwest Florida judicial allegations did not fade into private life. She left the Florida attorney general’s office in 2019 after serving the maximum two terms, then worked as a lobbyist at Ballard Partners and helped lead the legal arm of the Trump-aligned America First Policy Institute. On November 21, 2024, President-elect Donald Trump named her his pick to run the U.S. Department of Justice after his first choice withdrew. The Senate confirmed her in a 54–46 vote on February 4, 2025, and she was sworn in as the 87th U.S. Attorney General the next day.
For anyone who followed the concerns raised on this site about Bondi’s record in Florida, her rise to the top of the federal Justice Department raised the stakes considerably. The same official accused here of looking the other way on alleged judicial fraud in the 20th Circuit was handed authority over the FBI and the entire federal prosecutorial apparatus. Her tenure drew steady criticism, much of it echoing the central worry of this article — that the office was being run to serve political loyalty rather than impartial justice.
That tenure did not last a full term. In April 2026, Trump fired Bondi amid mounting dissatisfaction over her handling of the Justice Department’s Epstein files, ending her run as Attorney General after a little over a year. The pattern this article pointed to years earlier — a powerful prosecutor avoiding accountability until the controversy became too big to contain — ultimately followed her all the way to Washington. The Closed-Door Hearing In Tallahassee
On August 28, 2026, Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno was due in Tallahassee for a closed-door Florida Commission on Ethics hearing on a second investigation — this one built around a complaint by former LCSO commander James Bogliole, including a 2024 whistleblower letter to the U.S. Department of Justice that WINK News reported the year before. The Florida Trident and WGCU said the session would hear staff findings and a probable-cause recommendation in executive session. The file stays sealed until the case is resolved. That is a second track, not a substitute for the Romano kickback probe. The nameplate on the sheriff’s door changed in 2018.
