Tragedy struck in Fullerton on January 2, 2025, after a small plane crashed into a commercial warehouse. Two people lost their lives, and many others have been injured. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the crash, and initial evidence may have given a breakthrough. According to the investigators, the pilot door was open or not closed properly at the time of the crash. The failure of the door might have been the cause of the crash, but more effort is needed to find the cause behind the incident.

Eyewitness accounts and the cockpit audio state that everything suddenly went wrong shortly before the crash. One such eyewitness—John Martinez, who also works in the vicinity—told reporters, “I heard a loud boom and then saw smoke rising from the warehouse. It was terrifying.”
