Florida man arrested for plotting to ‘snatch up lil girl’ and throw her in trunk

(The AEGIS Alliance) – An age 26 Florida man in Tampa was apprehended by police on Thursday for purportedly plotting to abduct a little girl.

Cops had been carrying out an investigation into a domestic dispute at Jacob Holman’s home in the morning on Thursday when they found out about his “intentions,” the Clearwater Police posted on Facebook.

After an additional investigation, police discovered that Holman was accumulating items from a checklist that apparently consisted of duct tape, a flashlight, a shovel, a pair of gloves, a first aid kit, and also a condom. More items on the checklist apparently consisted of “snatching up a Lil girl” and also, “throw her in the trunk.”

Holman’s mobile phone had a live online video recording of an age 5 little girl from a neighborhood shop. It is not known if the girl in the online video was the planned victim. Investigators also apparently found child porn on Holman’s phone, according to WFLA-TV.

Holman was questioned by investigators, he apparently confessed to recording the online video of the age 5 little girl and also producing the checklist, but he failed to offer a reason why. He was eventually apprehended and is facing charges of attempted kidnapping as well as possession of child porn.

“So often in this profession, we see the tragic outcome after a heinous crime is committed,” Clearwater Police Chief Dan Slaughter stated.

Police Chief Dan Slaughter continued and said, “This is one of those rare occasions where we were fortunate to be able to intervene before the crime happened. I can’t be more grateful for the citizen reporting a concern and for the great work by our detectives in the Crimes Against Children and Families Unit.”

Holman has been jailed at the Pinellas County Jail. His bail amount is set at $500,000. Holman has prior apprehensions for domestic assault and also drug possession.
