FDA destroys U.S. Vape Industry… except Big Tobacco. A vape education.
A potential more than 40,000-50,000 small business locations will be forced to permanently close and go out of business, along with an estimated more than 250,000-350,000 people potentially losing their jobs if nicotine vaping is banned in the entire United States.
The FDA denied the Pre-Market Tobacco Applications (PMTA) of over one million Vape Products that are NOT connected to Big Tobacco. However, the FDA approved or needs more time for applications of Vape Products connected to Big Tobacco. The FDA has also approved the applications of a few kinds of Cigarettes since 2019.
Here are the nicotine vape products that the FDA’s cigarette monopoly has approved since the FDA’s nicotine vape approval process, or PMTA began in 2015.
Vape bans invite vape black markets and organized crime, because prohibition doesn’t work. The vape bans also scare away domestic manufacturers and jobs, vape shops closing down while smoke shops are loaded up with black market disposable vapes from China. Vape bans also cause an increase in cigarette smoking rates among adults and youths. After the Quebec, Canada vape ban in 2023, by June 2024, 36% of vapers had returned to deadly cigarettes after the ban.
Vape Green reports that in a CDVQ survey, which included 1,001 adults 16 and older and was conducted online between March 26 and April 7, 2024, reveals that 30% of youths between the ages of 16 and 24 still report vaping, even in the face of Quebec’s ban on vape flavors for electronic cigarettes. The legal age to purchase nicotine vape or tobacco products in Canada is typically 19 or 21 years old depending on the location.
CDVQ Rep. Valérie Gallant stated, “The fact that those who continue to vape buy their products on the black market does nothing to resolve the situation.
States in the U.S. receive cigarette and combustible tobacco revenue in advance in the form of bonds. Nicotine vaping came along and cigarette use steadily declined, while vape usage was steadily increasing. States are no longer able to make up for those tobacco bonds, and this is where all the propaganda misinforming the public and extreme measures to protect the cigarette industry by using forms of prohibition stems from. And as history showed us with alcohol, prohibition doesn’t work, it only makes matters much worse with a thriving black market that doesn’t care if it sells to underage.
Reuters in June, 2014: E-cigarettes could stub out tobacco bonds sooner than thought. Ecigator in 2014: Tobacco Bonds and the War on Vaping.
The CDC conveniently never graphs some of its tobacco usage data like this, so X/Twitter @ChaunceyGardner did it for them to show that tobacco use among youths in the U.S. has actually continued to steadily decline over the past two decades.
The United Kingdom views the way the United States handles vaping as bizarre. Nicotine vaping is an approved effective medical tool in the UK to help smokers quit cigarettes. Health ministry officials in the UK urge doctors to recommend to their smoker patients that they switch to vaping. The US and UK are opposites when it comes to nicotine vaping, as we said previously, nicotine vaping is treated as a medical tool in the UK, but in the US it’s demonized due to bogus and biased studies funded by cigarette companies and the pharmaceutical industry, along with billionaires such as Mike Bloomberg. Because of this, it’s preventing millions of cigarette smokers from making the switch to nicotine vaping and saving their lungs.
There are smokers who made the switch to vaping like myself who got their lungs tested a while after making the switch, and they had the lungs of a non-smoker! I switched to nicotine vaping in around 2012 or 2013. I got my lungs tested on September 6, 2023, and the results showed I have the clear, healthy lungs of a non-smoker! I managed to score an 8.5 out of 10 on the lung capacity test! I’d never be able to do that while smoking cigarettes. A few weeks after switching to only nicotine vapor and no cigarettes, I started to get brown mucus lumps in my throat in the mornings. It went away after a little while, but it was my lungs rejecting all of that built up tar and chemicals from cigarettes, because my lungs were able to start healing.
Nicotine e-liquid is made of only four basic ingredients:
- Vegetable Glycerine (VG). The main ingredient, VG, is used in medical and dental products, it’s in your toothpaste, it’s the main ingredient in both asthma inhalers and nicotine e-liquid. It’s used in frozen foods, and even in ice cream and protein bars. It is FDA approved as safe for human consumption. It is the main ingredient in CBD cannabis oil tinctures.
- Propylene Glycol (PG): PG has a very low toxicity level and is not known to harm humans, but it’s toxic to dogs. There is misinformation circulating about PG being used in anti-freeze. Well, PG’s toxic cousin, ethelyne glycol is the toxic one in anti-freeze. Just because something is a chemical doesn’t mean it’s harmful, and just becasue something’s natural doesn’t mean it’s safe. Certain people may be allergic to PG and would need to get 100% VG e-liquid instead, or a 90/10 or 80/20 ratio could work for you.
- Nicotine: Nicotine is not known to be a carcinogen and has a similar effect on the body as caffeine. Nicotine itself does not cause cancer.
- Flavoring: The natural and artificial flavoring ingredients used in nicotine e-liquid are the same as FDA approved as safe for human consumption flavoring ingredients. These food-grade flavorings and chemicals come in organic, or synthetic.
- The FDA bans over one million vape products: American Vaping Association. We spoke with AVA Board President Gregory Conley who told us the number of banned vape products is now at approximately 1.2 million.

- Your vape isn’t leaching toxic metals! According to scientists who debunked the now retracted false study, a user would need to vape 100 milliliters of e-liquid in one day just to reach the daily legal intake limit of breathing in toxic metals. That’s a lot of e-liquid! Nobody is vaping anywhere near 100 ml a day, let alone 30 or 35 ml. The scientists stated that people should be more concerned with pollution in the air they breathe: Vapour.

- Nicotine vape bans not only drastically increase cigarette smoking rates, but also create a vape black market with people producing and selling bootleg e-liquid or importing vape products from other states to sell on the black market streets like drug dealers. In turn, the state(s) don’t make the tax revenue. Chinese disposable vapes have taken over the market at smoke shops and in states where there is a form of vape ban. The bans scared away all the American manufacturers. In the black markets, some people don’t care if they sell youths other susbstances besides e-liquid.
- The EVALI vape Illness was caused by bootleg black-market THC oils that have Vitamin E Acetate Oil in them, not regular nicotine e-liquid, according to the CDC which never actually corrected itself. Meanwhile, the UK and other countries never had a vape illness problem: Filter Magazine. The CDC stopped tracking EVALI vape illness cases in 2020, because the sudden crisis that started in 2019, was virtually non-existent by 2020.
- Nicotine is able to improve symptoms of depression and reduce anxiety. Nicotine only makes depression and anxiety worse when a user stops using it and is experiencing withdrawal. There are anti-vaping campaigns that are trying to say “vaping” nicotine causes depression and anxiety, this is misleading and misinformation. Ask yourself, is it ONLY the nicotine from vaping? What about the nicotine from cigarettes? : NIH.GOV study.

- Is vaping environmentally friendly? Well, we’ve got good news! Practically everything used for vaping is recyclable!… Minus the cotton, but that’s biodegradable! However, cotton needs to be removed from coils and disposables need to be taken apart before they’re suitable for the recycling bin, but your city will actually recycle them if you dispose of them properly. Here is an excellent guide on the proper way to recycle vape products: MindSetEco.co.
Of course they are lol they wanna ban menthol cause it’s racist though lol
