Meet the All New NSFW Subaru Forester F%#@S Edition

SUBARU – You’ll hope nobody asks you what kind of car you drive if you decide to purchase the new vehicle being released by Subaru.

That’s because of the latest Forester model being released by the Japanese automaker, which had its unveiling at the 2020 Singapore Motor Show, that’s named the Forester Ultimate Customized Kit Special edition. For short, that spells out the acronym F***S edition.

If you couldn’t tell by now, you could just say the acronym rhymes with “trucks.” The vehicle name that is Not Safe For Work (NSFW) was at the auto show on full display, and its name was printed boldly beneath the vehicle model on a platform.

It still isn’t clear if the automaker’s choice of name was either a critical error, or if it was an attempt at viral marketing. If this was a viral marketing plan, Subaru may have already been successful. The vehicle quickly went viral on Twitter with photos, users showed their shock and awe, along with making jokes about it.

Another Twitter user wrote, “Subaru, are you ok?”

AutoBlog made the point that it still isn’t clear if the Subaru F***S will even be able to launch onto the market, because often times automakers use motor shows to put potential models on display. There are however, some advanced features inside, which include a touchscreen, a customized audio system, and ambient blue light to go with its noticeable exterior color.

On the bright side, it looks as though the acronym is enough reason for someone to make the commitment to purchase a Forester Ultimate Customized Kit Special edition.

As one Twitter user wrote, “you had me at the acronym I don’t even care if this shit can drive.”

If this is the final model name, Subaru is sure to face challenges when it comes to TV, Radio, Online and other advertising.
