To assess each job’s relative risk from AI and automation, as well as the likelihood of AI increasing job productivity, the researchers consulted with an AI chatbot named ChatGPT.

The report highlights that workers in other states such as Texas, New York, and Florida are also at high risk of being replaced by AI. The overall estimate is that approximately 19.5 million jobs across the United States are at high risk of being displaced by AI. However, it is worth noting that about 15.7 million job sectors are expected to use AI to increase job productivity.
