Kitten in Tennessee named Audio has FOUR ears due to an ‘extremely rare genetic mutation’

This adorable cat, dubbed Audio because he seems to have a stereo built in, is thought to be about nine weeks old and only weighs two pounds.

“This is an extremely rare genetic mutation and is completely harmless,” declared True Rescue, the Mount Juliet animal sanctuary that graciously accepted the kitten and his three littermates on Tuesday.

At a Nashville auto dealership, the quartet was found in an airtight, sealed box. A kind-hearted onlooker stepped in, freed the kitties, gave them a place to stay, and then turned them over to the shelter.

This adorable little kitty, named Audio for his surround-sound speakers, is believed to be around 9 weeks old and tips the scales at just over 2 pounds.

“(Audio) is very sweet and very grateful to not be stuck in that box anymore,” the shelter expressed.

The shelter claims that the last known sighting of a four-eared kitten took place in Turkey two years ago.

Audio’s hearing is entirely normal, according to a thorough veterinary examination. In due course, the shelter promises to make his adoption eligibility public.
