Oklahoma QAnon SaveOurChildren Follower Joshua Jennings Got Life Without Parole for Beating a 10-Month-Old to Death

YUKON, OKLAHOMA — Joshua Paul Jennings was supposed to be watching 10-month-old Paisley Louise Cearley while her mother was out. He posted QAnon and #SaveOurChildren slogans. He beat the baby. Investigators said he was the only adult in an apartment just south of Interstate 40 in Yukon when she took the injuries that killed her. The mother came home to marks old and new and drove Paisley to Mercy Minor Emergency Clinic on a Friday. Oklahoma City police met them there. The child died the next day. Prosecutors charged first-degree murder.
A Canadian County jury sat through a three-day trial in September 2022, convicted him, and recommended life without the possibility of parole. Law&Crime reviewed the docket, CF-2020-578. News 9 and KFOR put the verdict on air. The hashtag did not save anyone. It sat on a Facebook wall while a 10-month-old was murdered in the house.

QAnon is not Anonymous
QAnon is a political cult that used child-trafficking language as bait. This is what that bait looked like in Yukon. The people who spent 2020 screaming about tunnels under pizza parlors produced, in this case, a man who killed the child in his own care. The AEGIS Alliance has spent years covering actual child-exploitation cases and actual trafficking stings. We do not confuse a 4chan LARP with a warrant. We also do not confuse Anonymous, a leaderless idea with a human-rights streak, with a personality cult that worships a drop.
Jennings was 34 at sentencing. Paisley was 10 months. The jury did not ask him to explain the memes. They asked whether he beat a baby to death. They said he did.
