Iconic Porn Star Ron Jeremy Charged with Four Counts of Sexual Assault

CALIFORNIA – Renowned adult film star Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, widely known as Ron Jeremy, is currently facing a legal battle with four counts of sexual assault. Prosecutors have accused Jeremy of sexually assaulting four women in West Hollywood since 2014, as revealed in a press release by the district attorney’s office for Los Angeles County.

The charges against the iconic porn star include three counts of forcible rape, one count of sexual battery, and one count of oral copulation. According to the allegations, Jeremy assaulted a 25-year-old woman at a residence in West Hollywood in 2014. Additionally, prosecutors claim that he sexually assaulted two women at a bar in Hollywood in 2017 and raped another woman at the same bar in July 2019.

In a previous incident from 2016, Jeremy was accused of rape; however, the case did not proceed due to insufficient evidence, as stated in a one-page memo explaining the decision. The woman involved in that case accused Jeremy of separating her from her friends and raping her while she was intoxicated at a nightclub.

It is worth noting that the other women involved in these recent allegations currently reside outside the United States and have declined to be interviewed.

Jeremy is scheduled to appear in court today, Tuesday afternoon, in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom. If convicted, he could face up to 90 years in prison.

As a prominent figure in the adult entertainment industry, Jeremy has appeared in numerous adult films, making him one of the most recognizable personalities in the history of adult entertainment. However, in recent years, he has faced multiple accusations of sexual assault. Despite these allegations, Jeremy vehemently denies any wrongdoing, dismissing them as either “pure lies or buyer’s remorse” in a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone. The Los Angeles Times initially broke the story regarding the new allegations against Jeremy.
