Whiskey, Rattlesnake, and Even Uranium Found During Traffic Stop

GUTHRIE, OKLAHOMA – According to authorities in Oklahoma, they discovered a rattlesnake, a container of powdered radioactive uranium, and Kentucky Deluxe whiskey that was in an open bottle while stopping a vehicle that was reported to be stolen.

This all happened during a traffic stop on June 26, located around 30 miles north of Oklahoma City. According to police Sgt. Anthony Gibbs of Guthrie said to local Oklahoma City TV station KFOR that it is unknown to police as to why he had uranium inside the vehicle or how he acquired it. However, uranium ore is available for purchase on Amazon.

Gibbs also said police discovered a firearm in the console along with a terrarium in the backseat of the car that had a pet Timber rattlesnake inside it.

The driver was Stephen Jennings, and Gibbs said the man faces charges of possessing a stolen vehicle, driving with an open container of alcohol, and also for driving with a suspended license.

Stephen Jennings currently remains in jail in Logan County.
