Delaware bank robber immediately deposits stolen money into same bank’s ATM

(The AEGIS Alliance) – A bank robber who got busted is implicated in robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Delaware. Immediately after the robbery, the man headed over to the same bank’s ATM machine to deposit the cash he had just stolen in his account prior to fleeing the scene.

Delaware State Police pointed out that the robbery unfolded when age 44 McRoberts Williams, passed a note to an age 25 bank clerk with a demand for money at about 11:20 a.m. on Saturday in the city of Wilmington.

“The bank teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money,” authorities stated. “The suspect fled the bank on foot, and once outside he made a deposit in the ATM on the exterior of the building.”

After getting away from the scene of the crime, McRoberts apparently hid in the back of a close-by shopping complex where cops found the California man, then promptly arrested him. The amount of cash that was stolen is not clear.

The male suspect is facing charges of second-degree robbery. McRoberts Williams’s bail amount was set at $6,000.
