Long Island Dogfighting Bust: 89 Dogs Pulled Out of a Ring That Ran Into Connecticut and Massachusetts

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK — District Attorney Timothy D. Sini stood up on August 9, 2021 with the ASPCA, State Police, NYPD, Nassau DA, and two SPCAs and said they had just taken down one of the largest dogfighting rings in New York history. Ten men arrested. Eighty-nine dogs pulled out of yards, basements, and fight stock across Long Island, New York City, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. The ASPCA, ABC7と、 ニューヨークポスト ran the same ledger.
