Man from Alabama charged with raping 11-year-old girl, assaulting and strangling woman.

A man, aged 36, was taken into custody on multiple charges in Baldwin County, Alabama for reportedly sexually assaulting a minor and physically assaulting a woman earlier this month.

As per the update from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were summoned to David Scott Perez’s residence on March 10, after receiving reports of a domestic dispute between Perez and a grown-up woman. The altercation was allegedly sparked by accusations of Perez’s sexual abuse towards an 11-year-old girl. Both Perez and the woman were transported to nearby hospitals to receive medical attention for their injuries incurred during the scuffle. According to the report, Perez is accused of using physical force to assault the adult female by punching her, choking her, and stopping her from calling for help in an emergency situation.

According to reports, her injuries were consistent with the statement she gave.

Perez was taken into custody for allegations of committing domestic violence assault, domestic violence strangulation, and impeding a domestic violence emergency call.

During the investigation, authorities interviewed an 11-year-old who claimed that Perez engaged in sexual intercourse and other inappropriate sexual behavior with her. As a result of this testimony, Perez was charged with first-degree rape and sexual abuse of a child under 12 years old.

Perez has been detained in the Baldwin County Jail and is required to pay a bond amount of $40,500.
