Feces smeared all over home of Laguna Beach, California City Manager

The Laguna Beach Police Department issued a statement, saying that they were alerted to the situation at the home of City Manager Shohreh Dupuis at around 7:30 in the morning on Thursday. Upon arrival, they discovered that the property was covered in feces or sewage smeared around.

The police think that the vandalism took place during the night in the upscale coastal community of Laguna Beach. They have released pictures from the scene that depict the extent of the damage, including feces on the exterior of the house, the front yard, mailbox, planters, stairs, and the walkway next to the residence.

The official statement from the police department mentioned that the residence in question is considered city property as per the employment agreement, with the city owning half of the property, and the other half belonging to City Manager Shohreh Dupuis.

Mayor Whalen further added that the City Manager’s job is already demanding, and this type of attack only adds to the stress and anxiety she is already facing. He emphasized that she does not deserve to be treated with such disrespect and expressed his hope that the community will come together in support of the City Manager.

Laguna Beach Police Chief Jeff Calvert stated that the police department is actively investigating and taking the matter very seriously.

Chief Calvert appealed to anyone who may have information about the vandalism to come forward and help identify the culprit behind this cruel act. He emphasized that such behavior is not representative of the values of the community.

The Laguna Beach Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to contact them by calling (949) 497-0701.
