Florida woman charged with stabbing husband more than 140 times to death

(The AEGIS Alliance) – A Florida woman is facing a murder charge after stabbing her husband more than 140 times to death in their home’s kitchen area.

62-year-old victim Melvin Weller was discovered by his age 41 stepson lying dead in a pool of blood at his house in Palm Springs on February 11, WPTV reports citing a police report.

The stepson phoned authorities that later on located a number of bloody knives as well as a blood-covered meat cleaver inside the kitchen sink.

Melvin Weller’s wife, 61-year-old Joan Burke was found in her bed and remained silent without saying a word when the cops arrived at the scene.

She was hospitalized, then later on arrested and imprisoned after an investigation into the fatal stabbing.
