Louisiana teacher charged for feeding students sperm-laced desserts pleads guilty

(The AEGIS Alliance) – An age 34 school teacher in Livingston Parish, Louisiana gave a guilty plea to committing a lot of sexual criminal offenses in 2019 that involved underage victims.

On Monday, February 14, Cynthia Perkins made a guilty plea to rape in the second degree, producing child porn, as well as mingling of harmful substances, WAFB-TV reported.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office released a statement that noted The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation got a tip coming from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning a “possible possession and distribution of child pornography.”

As an outcome, Cynthia and also her hubby, Dennis Perkins, got apprehended and jailed at the Livingston Parish Detention Center on 60 counts of producing child porn involving a minor below 13 years of age, 2 counts of rape in the second degree, 3 counts of possessing porn involving an adolescent under age 13, 2 counts of video recording voyeurism, as well as 2 obscenity counts.

Cynthia approved a plea bargain and has consented to testify against her hubby. In her plea, Perkins apparently confessed to helping her spouse in the sexual abuse of a minor victim. She additionally confessed to assisting her spouse video record a kid while taking a bath and had laced treats with Dennis’ semen. She apparently provided the sperm-laced treats to her students.

Cynthia testified at her sentencing on Friday, February 18. Dennis gave a not guilty plea and his trial is arranged to start on May 9.

Dennis had apparently been a lieutenant with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office and also worked there since 2002. The Sheriff’s Office said it fired him following the Sheriff’s Office discovered the charges and evidence against him.

Jeff Landry, Attorney General for Louisiana stated, “Today, Cynthia Perkins admitted to her crimes and pled guilty in court. She not only waived any right to appeal, and attempt to avoid conviction, but she also spared the victims from reliving her horrific crimes during this particular trial.”

Landry continued and said, “Today’s conviction is in the best interest of our victims and justice. I wish to thank Assistant Attorney General Barry Milligan and Assistant Attorney General Erica McLellan for their work in obtaining this guilty plea, and we look forward to holding Dennis Perkins accountable for his crimes in the very near future.”
