Louisiana man arrested after living in woman’s attic and falling into her home

(The AEGIS Alliance) – An age 33 male suspect in Jefferson Davis Parish was apprehended following him apparently going into a woman’s residence by falling from her attic room.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call on Monday coming from an apartment complex at 13518 Highway 101 in Lacassine, Louisiana concerning “a stranger living in the attic.” The rightful apartment resident apparently contacted the Sheriff’s Office after observing the male suspect named Gregory Bonnette “fall from the attic area and into her apartment,” The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office wrote in a statement.

Bonnette apparently ran away from the scene as soon as he noticed that the rightful resident was present in the apartment.

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s deputies apparently located Bonnette, then apprehended him on a couple of counts for the unauthorized entrance of an occupied residence.

The sheriff’s department noted that this is the 21st time Gregory Bonnette has been arrested.
