Police: Florida Man molested 12-year-old girl in hotel room while other adults slept
(The AEGIS Alliance) – Police arrested a Florida Man after he purportedly molested a little girl at a Florida Keys hotel room during the 4th of July weekend.
41-year-old Rafael Rolando Nicolas was placed under arrest by police on a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 16 years of age, for the purported incident that happened on Sunday in a hotel room at the Islamorada hotel, according to the Miami Herald on Wednesday.
The Florida Man from Miami-Dade County had been released from jail on Monday morning on a $50,000 bail amount.
Mr. Nicolas went to sleep close to the underage victim on a pullout sofa after he came back on Sunday in the early morning to another man’s hotel room, with whom he was consuming alcohol throughout the day on Saturday, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Adam Linhardt stated.
The other guy, that has not been identified, had fallen asleep in the room’s bed together with his wife that informed her husband she observed Nicolas touching the little girl, Linhardt pointed out.
Police stated the man grabbed his pistol and then told Nicolas to get away from the girl, so he did and left the hotel.
The married couple reported the purported molestation to the police and also explained what Nicolas’ vehicle looked like. Police located the car and pulled it over on U.S. 1 in Key Largo.
Linhardt stated the girl confirmed the woman’s description of what had happened.
