12-year-old in Louisiana fatally shoots an armed home intruder who threatened boy’s mom

(The AEGIS Alliance) – A boy, age 12, made use of a hunting rifle to shoot and kill an armed burglar that made threats against the child’s mom at the family’s house in Louisiana.

The kid, that is not going to be charged with any crime, was in fear for his mom’s life at the time the boy fired a bullet right into aged 32 Brad LeBlanc on June 30 at around 7:20 a.m. at the boy’s residence east of Clinton, according to what East Feliciana Sheriff Jeffrey Travis said to The Advocate.

LeBlanc had armed himself with a handgun and initially came close to the mom outside the property and after that forced the woman inside the house, and that’s when a struggle occurred.

The suspect, armed with a pistol, was at that point fired on by the young boy. LeBlanc had been announced dead at a regional medical center.

A couple of additional burglary suspects participated with LeBlanc at the home and were consequently arrested three days afterward.

Johnathon Barker is facing a second-degree murder charge, aggravated burglary, and also aggravated kidnapping. Jennifer Bond is facing an accessory after the fact charge.
