Queens, New York man charged with murdering, sexually abusing his 65-year-old mother
(The AEGIS Alliance) – A man from Queens, New York has been charged on Sunday with the fatal beating and also the sexual abuse of his aged 65 mom, according to prosecutors.
28-year-old Pushkar Sharma purportedly executed the lethal assault on Soraj Sharma at their house in Jamaica at around 8 a.m. in the morning prior to Mother’s Day, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.
The suspect is implicated in grabbing his mom from her back, then strangling and punching her up until she fell onto the floor, prosecutors claimed.
Once lying on the floor, the son presumably carried on with the assault, suffocating and punching his mom prior to sexually attacking her, the DA stated.
The victim passed out and afterward she died, authorities mentioned.
“What should have been a celebration of Mother’s Day became a brutal, tragic nightmare for a Queens family,” Katz pointed out.
After the purported murder, the son turned himself into the custody of authorities and apparently confessed to the crime.
Pushkar Sharma has been charged with 2 counts of murder and sexual assault.
