Washington man arrested for carjacking a teenager 20 minutes after he was released from jail
(The AEGIS Alliance) – SPOKANE, WASHINGTON – A Washington man who had just gotten out of jail only a short time later found himself locked up behind bars again.
31-year-old Marcus Goodman was arrested at about 1 a.m. Sunday after he allegedly carjacked a 16-year-old teenage girl, the Spokane Police Department said.
Police received a call at about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Browne’s Addition neighborhood of Spokane and spoke to the teenager, who stated a man told her he had a gun, then stole her car.
Officials started scouring the area and tracked down the missing vehicle in northeast Spokane.
Police didn’t specify how Goodman was identified because the suspect mentioned they had been capable of determining that he had been released from jail earlier that night and allegedly stole the vehicle only 20 minutes later.
