Florida lawyer disbarred after making porn videos with jail inmates

(The AEGIS Alliance) – He went a bit too far with that attorney-client privilege thing.

A Florida attorney was disbarred for having intercourse with jail inmates and recording the encounters for a pornographic video, the state Supreme Court announced.

58-year-old Andrew Spark would solicit intercourse from incarcerated women and offer to put cash in their commissary accounts if they agreed to let him use the videos for porn he referred to as “Girls in Jail,” authorities stated.

The high courtroom discovered that Spark “abused” his attorney-client privilege to achieve entry to non-public jail rooms in two separate detention facilities “for his own prurient and/or financial interests,” the panel mentioned in its recent disciplinary notice shared on The Florida Bar’s website.

The newly disbarred lawyer previously pleaded guilty to bringing contraband into detention facilities and solicitation of prostitution. He’s serving five-years of probation that will end in 2024, according to the Miami Herald.

Spark was arrested in 2017 after he was caught “fully exposed” in a non-public room in the Pinellas County Jail, the sheriff’s office had said.

The rooms where Spark selected to meet women to have sex weren’t equipped with recording devices and only had a small window on the door. The aspiring porn star would then video record the inmate performing oral sex on him while he blocked the small window by standing up to the door, according to authorities.

He would reportedly tell jail officers he wanted to carry a digital camera into the room so he could be “efficient in the representation” of his clients.

“He duped the system because he came in there representing himself as a lawyer,” Sheriff Bob Gualtieri mentioned at the time.
