(The AEGIS Alliance) – Sorry, he’s taken, ladies, and is going away for a while.
An armed 79-year-old Louisiana man was shot by police on Tuesday who had a warrant to search his home for involvement in a child pornography investigation, but that was just the beginning.
When officers arrived on the Metairie, Louisiana, residence of James Millet III, his spouse reportedly went to the door whereas her husband waited for police in a bedroom, where cops said he was wielding a gun. A deputy shot Millet, who was stated to be recovering from a shoulder wound in a local hospital Wednesday. No bond was set at the time.
Authorities booked Millet for alleged possession of pornography that amounted to 36 counts of sexual abuse on animals, seven counts involving children, and two counts associated with materials involving a victim below the age of 13. Millet is also accused of aggravated assault on a police officer.
