Police: Mississippi woman stabs husband multiple times for cheating in her dream
(The AEGIS Alliance) – JONES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI – Sheriff’s deputies in Jones County arrested Lindsey Stephens on December 26, 2020, a Saturday, for aggravated domestic assault, the Vicksburg Daily News reported.
According to a number of sources, Stephens told investigators that she dreamt about her husband “cheating on her” with some other woman, which triggered her into stabbing him as much as seven times in a row.
Stephens’ husband was reportedly rushed to the hospital and has undergone a surgical procedure and is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries.
According to The Laurel Leader-Call, deputies who responded to the residence reported that Lindsey Stephens mentioned “she had a dream that her husband was being unfaithful” and wound up going to the kitchen, grabbing a knife and stabbing him “multiple times.”
