Human remains discovered in 2 suitcases on side of road in Denver neighborhood

(The AEGIS Alliance) – DENVER, COLORADO Human remains had been found Tuesday, Dec. 29, in two suitcases in southwest Denver’s Mar Lee neighborhood.

Police had been called to the 1700 block of South Java Way when suspicious luggage was discovered close to the side of the street, sidewalks had been cleared of snow. Denver Police stated the remains are of a not too long ago deceased White man. The medical expert is working to determine his identity and find out how he died.

Denver Police stated that due to how the remains had been found, the case is being investigated as a murder.

Denver public works staff snow plowing the sidewalks of the Sanderson Gulch Trail reported the bags as suspicious about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, according to the Denver Post. Denver police didn’t know of any person recently reported missing that could be the remains, and investigators had been gathering surveillance video from close by properties, Denver Police stated.
