Prosecutors: New Jersey Mailman used ‘Dark Web’ to view thousands of child porn files
(The AEGIS Alliance) – Authorities stated that a mail courier in New Jersey viewed over 3,000 sexually explicit photos of minors on the “Dark Web”.
The Bergen County prosecutor’s office said that John Bianchini, 65, was taken into custody in Paramus, N.J., on Monday, and charged with second-degree possession of child pornography.
In a statement released to the public, Prosecutor Mark Musella said, the married Ridgefield Park resident “used the internet, including the ‘Dark Web’ (also referred to as the ‘Darknet’), to view, download, or possess approximately 2,908 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children.”
The local police and trained members of the county’s Cyber Crimes Taskforce conducted an extensive search in Bianchini’s home in Highland Place. Besides finding thousands of disturbing photos of children in his residence, they also found eleven ounces of marijuana.
Mr. Bianchini is also being charged with illegal possession of just some marijuana. At this present time, he’s being held in custody at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey.
