Three Arrested for Child Sex Crimes in Iowa, They Lived Together with Minors
(The AEGIS Alliance) – DES MOINES, IOWA – Three adults have been arrested and jailed, they’re accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl.
Frank Maier, age 59, is being charged with four counts of sexual abuse against a child in the second-degree. Court documents reveal that Maier confessed to engaging in sexual acts with a female child under the age of 12 multiple times that occurred between May 2019 and April 2020. Maier was arrested by authorities last week.
Danielle Williams, age 31, and David Joynes, age 59, are facing charges of sexual abuse against a child in the second-degree, and the abandonment or neglect of a dependent person, according to WHOTV.com. The two were placed under arrest on Tuesday evening.
According to court documents, Joynes and Williams had both observed the young victim being abused by Maier. During an investigation, the two told detectives they were hesitant to report the abuse because they were concerned about their relationship with Maier. Maier also said to Joynes that he wanted to marry the victim and have sex with her, according to police.
Frank Maier, Danielle Williams, and David Joynes were all living together in an apartment in Des Moines, Iowa with two other underage children.

Contact orders have not yet been filed. The three suspects are all locked behind bars in the Polk County Jail.
