(The AEGIS Alliance) – ELKTON, MARYLAND – A man from Cecil County has been arrested and charged on Monday after investigators discovered evidence he was possessing and distributing child pornography, according to Maryland State Police.
21 year old Parke Reese of Elkton, Maryland is being charged with three counts of distributing child pornography, and nine counts of possessing child pornography, and one count of visual surveillance with an excessive interest in a sexual matter.
Mr Reese was at home when he was arrested, police encountered no incident with the man. Reese has been jailed without bond at the Cecil County Detention Center.
Investigators discovered that Reese had been allegedly recording video footage of a juvenile at a private location. Investigators identified Mr Reese as the suspect and his Cecil County home.
On Monday morning at about 5:30 a.m., Homeland Security Investigators and state police served a search warrant at the home of Mr Reese where they discovered his electronic devices contained multiple files related to child pornography. Authorities seized the devices.
State police were able to identify the juvenile that was seen in Parke Reese’s video he recorded. The case is under investigation by Child Protective Services in Cecil County, Maryland.
