(The AEGIS Alliance) – POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA – A retired middle school assistant principal and two Disney employees have been arrested in a Florida child pornography sting carried out by Sheriff’s.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd made an announcement on Friday about their arrests, along with 14 other men who were arrests in an undercover child pornography probe that was conducted by detectives who’s work is in computer crime cases.
The two arrested Disney employees were age 40 Brett Kinney from Lake Alfred, Florida, and age 52 Donald Durr Jr from Davenport, Florida, according to Sheriff Judd.
The retired middle school assistant principal was age 76 William Hage from Lakeland, Florida, Judd said. Mr Hage used to work at Seth McKeel Middle School in Lakeland.
The arrests were made on Monday for charges of possessing and also promoting child pornography.
Mr Kinney was working as a guest experience manager at Walt Disney World and was employed by the theme park for 15 years, according to Fox 13 Tampa.
Investigators say Kinney told detectives he was addicted to child pornography and had been watching it for the past 22 years.
Mr Durr had been employed by Disney for more than two decades working in the maintenance staff.
Sheriff Judd reports Durr told deputies that, “I’m a pervert but I’m not a monster,” Fox 13 Tampa reported.
A Disney representative said that Kinney is no longer working for them and that Durr is currently on unpaid leave.
In a news release by Sheriff Judd, it’s reported that Hage was chatting on the internet about wanting, “to see a 15-year-old wearing something sexy,” when he was busted by detectives who arrived at his house with a search warrant.
According to the news release, Mr Hage had hundreds of images and videos of child pornography that contained various aged girls.
