Florida Man Given Four Life Prison Sentences for Child Sex Crimes

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA 25-year-old Jamal Alonzo Davis in Brevard County has been given four life prison sentences because of sex crimes against children.

A jury found Mr Davis guilty on 21 child sex crime charges.

The Palm Bay Police Department received a complaint on May 28, 2019, regarding a male adult, who was identified later as being Jamal A. Davis. Davis solicited a mother to let him have a sexual encounter with the woman’s juvenile child.

The concerned mother filed a police report and an investigation was launched by detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit.

The investigation resulted in credible evidence of criminal acts, including sexual battery of a minor, using a child in sexual performance, and production of child pornography, along with many more criminal offenses, according to officials.

Davis faced several counts of child sex crimes after being immediately taken into police custody.

Davis made a confession that he had a fetish for minors and that he enjoyed recording himself with electronic devices while sexually molesting children, according to his interview with authorities.

“Special Victim’s Unit Detectives Hilda Benedith, Jennifer Graves, Reed Caswell, and Matthew Boggess were instrumental in the successful investigation and prosecution of this case,” A spokesperson for the Palm Bay Police Department said in a statement.
