Driver Tried Using Camel Cigarette Box for State Inspection Sticker

(The AEGIS Alliance) – A driver in Plaistow, New Hampshire attempted to be creative in order to avoid acquiring an official inspection sticker, according to the Plaistow Police Department. However, the driver did not get past one police officer.

An officer pulled over a car with a suspicious looking inspection sticker on 19 Plaistow Road at around 2:20 P.M. on February 14, Valentine’s Day.

A box of Camel cigarettes was placed in the window by the driver who attempted to color it to appear like an inspection sticker. 09-19 was written on the front of the Camel cigarette box, according to police in a Facebook post.

“Although it is creative, it is definitely not legal,” police said.

A traffic citation was issued to the driver.

“Please do not attempt this,” police said. “Get your vehicle inspected according to the law at an official inspection station.”
